Over the past few years, white kitchens have been the dominating style for any and all renovations and new constructions. They act as crisp, clean, and classic canvases to add your own touches too, while still remaining agreeable to almost anyone. But recently, a new interior design trend has been taking TikTok and other social media apps by storm: colorful kitchens. Specifically, the ‘green kitchen’, which won the hearts of many since it first went viral in 2021 (see here).

These green kitchens largely featured  the paint ‘Pewter Green’ from Sherwin Williams – a grayish-green that feels rich without becoming overbearing.

But green isn’t the only color that took over – pink, yellow, blue, navy, and orange all had their moments creating the trending rainbow of kitchens. The internet can’t get enough of  these colorful rooms, but the question still stands: is it worth it?
